E-commerce Operations Manager

We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and elevate all aspects of our e-commerce operations. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage our customer service, logistics and warehouse teams, and collaborate closely with Executive Directors to drive our business forward. This is a remote role, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leader:
  • Supervise the Customer service team to ensure a smooth customer onboarding process by managing CRM data entry and enforcing best practices
  • Supervise the Logistics and warehouse team to ensure inventory management, order fulfilment, and inter-state stock transfers
  • Inspire and coach your customer service and warehouse teams, monitor performance metrics, and drive team success.
  • Engage with last-mile delivery agents to ensure smooth delivery of end products
  • Communication Maestro: Ensure successful customer interactions across various channels (WhatsApp, social media, email), by supporting your customer service team to provide prompt and professional responses. Act as a liaison between operations and Executive Directors, effectively communicating progress and challenges.
  • Data & Reporting Expert: Produce detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on customer service performance, stock arrivals, and operational metrics. Analyze data to identify trends and develop actionable strategies.
  • Process Improvement Specialist: Continuously evaluate workflows, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions with strong project management skills.
  • Business Growth Strategist: Identify and establish new business contacts, contributing to overall company growth initiatives.
  • Recruitment: Actively participate in the recruitment of new team members

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, data management, inventory management, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage with team members and Executive Directors.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving, process improvement, and data analysis.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven success in enhancing operational efficiency and driving growth in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing customer service and/or warehouse teams.

Work Schedule:

Days: Mondays to Fridays (8am – 5 pm), with Saturday being a half-day (8am-12noon).
